This cutie will warm up any corner of your home, no matter the weather! He's made from 2x4s glued together instead of more expensive 4x4 posts. Add your own touches, like holly on his hat or sticks arms, for a festive and easy craft!

Instructions

Supplies

1. Sand all boards to remove rough edges

2. Assemble all blocks in snowman shape to decide what directions all boards will face. Lightly mark all bottoms and insides of boards

3. Paint all but 2 of the 3 ½” 2x4s white, wrapping around edges but leaving bottoms and insides of boards unpainted.

4. Paint remaining 3 ½” 2x4s and 5 ½” 1x6 black.
Paint all sides of the 1x6.

5. Paint 3 stars black, can leave back unpainted, but ensure sides are covered.

6. Paint carrot nose orange.

7. Once paint is dry, begin with the 11 ½” 2x4s and apply a zig zag of construction adhesive to the inside of one board, staying approx. an inch away from all sides.

8. Press corresponding board together to smear adhesive, then pull apart to allow air to activate bond. Press boards together again, ensuring corners match as closely as possible.

9. Repeat process with all 2x4s.

10. Apply adhesive to bottom of 9” 2x4s, staying 1 inch in from all sides.

11. Center on 11 ½” 2x4s, press, remove, then press again to set construction adhesive.

12. Repeat with remaining white 2x4 blocks

13. Apply construction adhesive to the top of the 3 ½” white blocks, staying 1 inch away from the edges.
