Instructions to Build Tray and assemble Quilt block pieces
  1. Sand each piece of wood to remove all rough edges and splinters

  2. Set aside quilt block squares and triangles

  3. Using one 15 ¼” piece and one 14 ¼” piece of lumber create a right angle with the longer piece overlapping the cut edge of the shorter piece. Be aware that one edge of the lumber is curved on top and you’ll need to make sure that the curved side is up.

  4. Fasten with one Screw in the middle of the 15 ¼” piece in approximately the middle of the shorter piece. Try not to get too close to the edge of your long piece’s end as the wood will split.
Tools needed:
Hammer
Phillips Head Screwdriver or power screw driver with Phillips head bit
Paint Brush

Materials Included
(4) 2" Phillips Head Wood Screws
(12) Nails
(2) pieces 15 ¼” lengths 1x2 lumber
(2) pieces 14 ¼” lengths 1x2 lumber
(24) Half Square Triablge pieces
(4) Square pieces
(1) 15 ¼” Luaun piece
Sand Paper
      5. Using the other 14 ¼” piece of lumber, attach to other end of 15 ¼” piece.

       6. Attach the remaining 15 ¼” piece of lumber to the open ends of the square.

      7. Making sure the curved top edge of the square pieces are now down on the table, place the luaun onto the top of              the square. Because there is only one screw in each corner you may need to wiggle the square until it aligns with                the cut piece of luaun.

      8. Using your hammer and nails insert one nail at each corner and two on each side to attach the luaun to the frame.

      9. Paint your frame and set aside to dry

     10. Paint each quilt block desired color. Let dry. Arrange in whatever pattern you imagine! Put your finished product               in our Hardware (CR)After Hours Facebook Group!
